Since 1981, the Singapore Association of Shipsuppliers & Services has grown from a small group of ship chandlers into the trusted voice of an entire industry — one that keeps the world's busiest port supplied, day and night. Every member adds a chapter to that story.
Our Journey
Four Decades of Shared Progress
1981
SASS is founded to give Singapore's ship suppliers a united voice with the port and the authorities.
2000s
Membership broadens across chandlers, marine service providers and logistics partners serving vessels at anchorage and in port.
2020s
SASS leads digitalisation, drone-delivery trials and the drive to cut single-use plastics — aligned with Singapore's Maritime Green Plan.
Today
Over 100 member companies supplying and servicing more than 140,000 vessel calls each year.
In Their Words
Why Our Members Belong to SASS
“Being part of SASS means our concerns reach MPA and PSA with the weight of the whole industry behind them — not just one company.”
“The networking and the AGM are where real partnerships start. We've found suppliers, customers and friends through SASS.”
“SASS keeps us ahead on regulation and on technology. The digitalisation trials gave us a head start the rest of the market is still catching up on.”
